This is a general comment. Thank you for raising the issue early in the class, Andy.
Competition in the "real world" of business is brutal. Loosers outnumber winners by a wide margin. To win consistently, I feel one has to stand out. In the first couple of classes we look at how age, race, country of origin, family background etc. matter as to the entrepreneurial mindset. The text doesn't address the impact of professionalism. All things being equal, my personal view is that when it comes to who wins a deal and who doesn't, it comes down to professionalism. For that reason, I feel it is imporntant to radiate professionalism in all communications.
Pause a moment before pressing "send" or "submit" to make sure your written communications are "professional". I hope that every student of BUS477 takes this simple thought away with them as a life skill.

Refer to page 4 of the syllabus, it says that written assignments are to be double-spaced using 12-point font. hope that helps.
