Great answer, Wassel. Canada does not have the market cornered on entrepreneurs. Far from it.
You are absolutely welcome to interview an enterpreneur anywhere in the world. However, it might be expensive and time consuming to fly or drive somewhere outside of Vancouver. It is not a requirement that you meet the entrepreneur in person, but certainly preferable.
10% bonus on the assignment if you interview one of the top 100 most successful entrepreneurs in the world, such as Sir Branson. Bonus points for community participation if you can convince them to speak to our class!
I would venture to say why not? I mean an entrepreneur is an
entrepreneur is an entrepreneur. Doesn't entrepreneurship transcend
nationality? I think so. If I could land an interview with that
Virgin guy, Sir Richard Branson, I wouldn't let the fact that he's
British dissuade me from doing the interview for a second. But if the
entrepreneur you have in mind operates in Mogadishu, or some such
obscure place, then perhaps it would be wise to include in your report
some background information on the geographic, political, cultural and
economic conditions that are peculiar to that place.
The Entrepreneur can be anywhere
