Paul Girodo (MBA) Director, Girodo & Associates Management Consulting Ltd. will speak on the topic of "How to Create a
Business Plan with the Greatest Likelihood of Success”
Paul graduated from the University of British Columbia in 1996, from Royal
Roads University's Executive Management MBA Class of 2002, and in 2008 from the
University of British Columbia's Centre for Intercultural Communication with a
Certificate in Immigration: Laws, Policies and Procedures. Paul’s
team delivers strategic planning services to large and small businesses in
technology to snowboarding and completed $1.2 million worth of consulting contracts
in Vancouver in 2007. As well, venture capital firms in Vancouver have
used Paul’s methodology as a growth capability “audit” before
deciding if/when money should be invested. Paul is a quasi
environmentalist who’s current entrepreneurial start ups are to be structured
using a “triple bottom line” methodology. Paul is a believer that
green technology, paired with economic incentives, will help slow global
warming.
Paul played linebacker in the Canadian Football League for
the Winnipeg Blue Bombers and Saskatchewan Rough Riders but liked
making money
so went back to school and into business! He's an avid skier and when
he vacations, he prefers eco tours to support conservation of at risk
areas
